Before you begin
NMMAA is a national nonprofit advocacy organization, not a law firm. This routing tool provides education and referral direction. It does not determine whether malpractice occurred, whether a claim is legally viable, or whether a statute of limitations has expired.
We do not need your medical records to point you in the right direction.
NMMAA's public assistance process is intentionally limited. Do not email medical records, Social Security numbers, insurance identification numbers, financial information, or a full medical chart to NMMAA.
For a routing request, provide only:
Your name • email • state where the care occurred • general issue category • approximate incident date • whether there is a current safety concern.
Use the Resource Library and State Finder first whenever possible. If you still need direction, email nmmaa2019@gmail.com with the subject line ASSISTANCE ROUTING REQUEST. Do not attach medical records.

NMMAA does not provide emergency medical services or legal representation and cannot determine legal deadlines. If there is an immediate medical emergency, seek appropriate emergency care.
